CFR Cluj drew 0-0 with the Hungarian team Paksi in the first preliminary round of the Europe League, despite being considered favorites. Although the 'Feroviarii' dominated the first half, they failed to score, and in the second half Paksi had a notable chance, hitting the bar. Qualification will be decided in next week's home leg.
