Romania won a world title and two other medals on the last day of the U23 World Rowing Championships in Duisburg.
Bianca-Camelia Ifteni became the world champion in women's single sculls at the U23 World Championships, thus obtaining the first gold medal for Romania in this event.
Two other silver medals were won in the mixed double sculls event by David Costel Chitic and Stejara Olariu, and in the mixed eight plus one event, where the Romanian crew finished in second place, behind the United States.
