The 2025 US Open will feature Aryna Sabalenka, the defending champion and world No. 1, as the main participant. The list includes almost all players in the WTA top 100, with three Romanians - Sorana Cîrstea, Jaqueline Cristian and Gabriela Ruse - qualifying directly. Cîrstea benefits from a protected ranking of 166 WTA. Matches start on August 24 and all top 70 WTA players are included. Ons Jabeur is the only one of the top 99 not taking part.
