At the U23 European Championships in Bergen, Alexia Ioana Dospin won the gold medal in the triple jump, clocking a personal best of 14.05 meters on her third attempt. The 22-year-old athlete qualified with 13.47 meters, placing sixth. Clemence Rugier of France and Aleksandrija Mitrovic of Serbia were also on the podium. Romania is represented by 22 athletes at the championships, aiming for a medal and placing in the top eight.
