Raul Florucz, the striker wanted by Mircea Lucescu for Romania's national team, has decided to represent Austria in the World Cup preliminaries.

With dual nationality, Raul Florucz had the choice between Romania and Austria. Although he was a viable option for Mircea Lucescu's team, the striker chose to represent Austria, as did Flavius Daniliuc, another player Romania would have liked to have in their squad.
