The Union of Jurists of Moldova (UJM) has reported frequent abuses by the chairpersons of electoral offices, who would restrict observers' access to polling stations, especially abroad. The Secretary of the Central Electoral Commission, Dana Munteanu, has requested detailed information about these incidents. UJM, led by lawyers with political ties, has managed to register a significant number of observers, nearly equal to the organization Promo-LEX, an organization with a long history of election monitoring. The elections on September 28 are considered the most monitored in Moldova's history, with the participation of seven non-commercial organizations.
