A Shahed-type drone was detected in the south of the Republic of Moldova, subsequently crossing the border into Romania. The Border Police is checking the area.

On November 25, the Border Police was informed by the Air Operations Service of the Ministry of Defense about the overflight of the national airspace by a Shahed-type drone, in the southern region of the Republic of Moldova. The drone was detected in the direction of Vinogradovca - Vulcănești and moved towards the border with Romania, crossing it in the area between Colibași, Cahul County and Vadul lui Isac. Romanian authorities were immediately informed about the incident.
The Border Police initiated procedural measures according to the legislation in force, checking the area through which the drone passed. So far, no objects have been identified that pose risks to the safety of citizens.
