A serious road accident in the village of Cosăuți resulted in the death of two people, after the driver lost control of the car.

On Sunday evening, a 25-year-old man, driving an excessively fast BMW, skidded and overturned into a drainage canal. As a result of the accident, the 46-year-old passenger died on the spot, and the driver, transported in serious condition to the hospital, later died. The police are investigating the circumstances of the accident and emphasize the importance of adhering to the legal speed limit.
