Roberta Metsola, the President of the European Parliament, arrived in Chișinău, being welcomed by Igor Grosu, the President of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova

The reception ceremony included the singing of the national anthems, performed by a children's choir, and the official was applauded by the deputies. Metsola signed in the Parliament's Book of Honor and has scheduled meetings with President Maia Sandu, Parliament President Igor Grosu, and Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu. She will also participate in a public event dedicated to youth at the "Spiru Haret" Theoretical High School. This is the official's second visit to Chișinău, following the one in the spring of 2023.
