The President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, will visit the Republic of Moldova on November 6 and 7, participating in official events and meetings with Moldovan leaders.

During this visit, she will participate in a solemn session of the legislature in Chişinău, where she will deliver a speech on the occasion of the establishment of the XIIth legislature. Metsola will have meetings with Moldovan officials, including the president of the legislature, Igor Grosu, and the president of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, followed by a press conference. She will also discuss with Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu and will participate in a public event dedicated to youth at the "Spiru Haret" Theoretical High School. This visit underscores the European Union's continued support for Moldova's European path, a message that Metsola conveyed three years ago as well.
