The Moldovan Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu announced that his first foreign visit will be to Bucharest, followed by a visit to Brussels, starting next week, when he will launch visits in the territory to discuss government projects with citizens. In the first meeting of the new Government, the denunciation of the agreement with Russia regarding cultural centers, initiated by the Ministry of Culture at the request of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was also discussed.

The decision to denounce is motivated by the risks of disinformation and the lack of a Moldovan cultural center in Russia, which undermines the initial purpose of the agreement signed in 1998. The agreement provided for the establishment of cultural centers based on reciprocity, but it was not implemented fairly. The denunciation law will come into force upon publication in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Moldova.
