The Moldovan Prime Minister, Alexandru Munteanu, had meetings in Brussels with European leaders, including Antonio Costa and Kaja Kallas, to discuss the necessary reforms in the context of Moldova's accession to the European Union. Munteanu highlighted the progress made, such as integration into SEPA and the introduction of roaming in the EU, emphasizing the concrete benefits for citizens.


He reaffirmed Moldova's commitment to becoming a stable and credible partner in Europe, advancing the reform agenda not only for accession but also for transforming the state into a modern and prosperous one. He also discussed the importance of Moldova in ensuring peace in the region and mentioned collaboration with Montenegro as a successful model in the accession process. This represents the second foreign visit of the Prime Minister since taking office, underscoring his commitment to European integration.
