Major power outage in the Republic of Moldova. Chisinau and several regions affected.

A major power outage affected Moldova on Saturday, including the municipality of Chișinău and several regions of the country, after the voltage dropped on the 400 kV Isaccea–Vulcănești–MGRES power line, against the backdrop of serious problems in Ukraine's electricity network, announced the Ministry of Energy. Authorities specify that Moldelectrica is working to remedy the situation, and in some localities, power supply has already been restored. In Chișinău, traffic lights are not functioning, traffic is congested, and police have been mobilized at intersections to prevent accidents.
