The Investment Agency of the Republic of Moldova has announced the organization of the Moldova-India Business Forum, aimed at strengthening economic cooperation and facilitating direct dialogue between the business communities of the two countries.
So far, it is unclear whether the President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, will meet with the President of India, Droupadi Murmu, during the visit. Trade relations between Moldova and India are still modest, with direct exports of approximately 259 thousand dollars in 2025, mainly consisting of machinery, edible fruits, optical instruments, and pharmaceutical products.
India, as one of the largest global economies, offers significant potential for the development of economic cooperation. Moldovan entrepreneurs are invited to participate in the forum to explore new export and collaboration opportunities. Registrations are open until July 17.
