Maia Sandu made a visit to Rome, where she discussed with Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and Senate President Ignazio La Russa about collaboration to protect the integrity of the elections in the Republic of Moldova. In Italy, 75 polling stations will be set up for the elections on September 28. Sandu emphasized Italy's support, which has provided 90 million euros to Moldova in the last four years, and highlighted the close ties between the two countries, strengthened by the Moldovan diaspora in Italy.
