President Maia Sandu convened the newly elected Parliament for October 22, 2025, when the leadership of the legislature will be elected and a new Government will be formed.

The President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, has signed the Decree for the convening of the newly elected Parliament, establishing that the first session will take place on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 10:00 AM. During this inaugural session, the new deputies will elect the leadership bodies of the Parliament, including the president, vice-presidents, and members of the permanent Bureau.

Also, with the establishment of the new Parliament, the procedure for forming a new Government will begin, in accordance with constitutional provisions. This convocation marks an important moment in the legislative and political process of the country.
