Iurie Roșca, former leader of the unionist movement and collaborator of Russian services, was sentenced to four years in prison for corruption, being accused of having demanded large sums from an entrepreneur to influence judicial decisions. The sentencing took place on August 2, 2024, but Roșca left the Republic of Moldova before the sentence was pronounced.
