Ion Ceban, the leader of the Alternative Bloc, confirmed that he will remain the mayor of Chișinău and will resign from his deputy mandate, emphasizing his commitment to the municipality. The Alternative Bloc obtained 7.9% of the votes in the parliamentary elections, entering the Legislature with 8 mandates. Ceban mentioned that his team is ready to work for the citizens, but left room for interpretation regarding future political decisions. Recently, several of his subordinates have resigned, and the former interim mayor suggests that these departures are related to the party's poor results.
