The border police from the Border Police Inspectorate stopped a car registered in the Republic of Moldova, checking both the vehicle's documents and the passengers' luggage. In the backpack of a 45-year-old man, authorities found a forged Romanian identity document, hidden between two slices of white bread, an unusual method intended to avoid the quick discovery of the document. The document was confiscated, and the man was opened a criminal case for possession of a counterfeit document. Although the investigation continues, the passenger was allowed to continue his journey, without additional details about his intentions or connections to other similar acts.
