Former Moldovan deputy Vladimir Andronachi has been placed in preventive detention for 30 days, being accused of large-scale money laundering.

Former deputy Vladimir Andronachi has been placed in preventive detention for 30 days, being detained for money laundering. The Chișinău Court accepted the prosecutors' request, and Andronachi was detained on September 2, 2025. He is involved in several criminal cases, including 'Bank Fraud' and the purchase of blank passports. He was also expelled from Ukraine in 2022 and has had legal issues related to a traffic accident. Andronachi pleaded not guilty.
