A civil servant from Chisinau has been detained for 72 hours on suspicion of receiving a bribe for hiring a person.

The civil servant was accused of soliciting 1700 euros to facilitate the employment of a person in a legal institution. NAC officers searched his home and office and seized relevant evidence. The man was detained for 72 hours and placed in NAC solitary confinement following investigations.
