The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) clarified the rules on political advertising for the parliamentary elections of September 28, 2025. Parties whose activity has been restricted or which have been dissolved by court order, such as the 'Moldova Unita-Edinaia Moldova' party and others, cannot advertise. Since August 29, only electoral contestants registered by the CEC can broadcast election advertising, according to the legislation in force. The use of political advertising materials by parties without the status of electoral contestants is also prohibited.
