The National Bureau of USR has decided to convene a Political Committee on Wednesday to vote on supporting the party's president, Dominic Fritz, following the CCR's decision regarding the ANI law, which could lead to the loss of his mandate as mayor of Timișoara due to a conflict of interest.
Deputy Ionuț Moșteanu announced on Facebook that the party "will not be intimidated" and that it will remain dedicated to those who have placed their trust in them.
Dominic Fritz sent a message to his supporters, stating that the main target of the attacks is not him, but the citizens. In a video message posted on Facebook, Fritz thanked for the support received, emphasizing that the "uprising" is not about him, but about the "dignity of Timișoara residents" and the dangers threatening Romania.
Fritz encouraged supporters to "make themselves heard," stating that he will not leave Timișoara.
