The Minister of Labor, Petre Florin Manole, stated that the unified salary law could come into force in 2026. He requested colleagues from other ministries to designate members for a working group that will draft a proposal, followed by extensive discussions with trade unions and employers' associations. Manole emphasized the importance of equity in the system and mentioned that, although the previous law was good, its implementation was flawed. Discussions will continue, including on the topic of the necessary budget.
