President Nicușor Dan promulgated a law allowing the Government to issue ordinances in various areas during the parliamentary recess.

The law promulgated by President Nicușor Dan allows the Government to regulate areas such as finance, agriculture, health and environment through simple ordinances until the beginning of the September parliamentary session. The draft was adopted with amendments, expanding the areas of regulation to include energy and European funds. Although it was challenged by the AUR at the Constitutional Court, the complaint was rejected.
