The group of deputies of the Party of Young People (POT) announced on Monday, in plenary, the change of its name to 'United for Romania', according to the statement of Răzvan Chiriță, the party's representative. The decision was adopted following a meeting of the Permanent Bureau of the Chamber of Deputies on May 6.

The group consists of 16 members, and Răzvan Chiriță has been appointed leader, with Daniel Grofu as vice-leader. The secretaries of the group are Gabriela Porumboiu and Călin Florin Groza. Among the members of the group are Anamaria Gavrilă, who is also the president of POT, along with other deputies such as Maria Cernit, Codruța Maria Corcheș, and Andrei Csillag. This name change reflects a new direction and unity within the parliamentary group.
