On Monday, at 4:00 PM, the Government will meet in an extraordinary session to discuss the amendment of Ordinance 52, which has sparked controversy within the coalition. The PSD has accused that the provisions of this ordinance block the activity of local authorities, which could lead to problems in local administration.

The interim president of the PSD, Sorin Grindeanu, emphasized that the ordinance contains many aspects that need correction to avoid blockages. Additionally, the mayor of Craiova, Lia Olguța Vasilescu, mentioned that the measures in the ordinance hinder snow removal and the preparation of roads for winter, while simultaneously prohibiting the necessary feasibility studies for accessing European funds. The Government's spokesperson, Ioana Dogioiu, confirmed that there is an intention to amend the ordinance, but did not provide details about the content of the proposals.
