The Romanian government has approved a budget of 67.6 million lei for the local partial elections on December 7, 2025.

The Government of Romania has adopted a decision establishing the necessary expenses for organizing the local partial elections scheduled for December 7, 2025. The Ministry of Internal Affairs will receive the largest portion of the funds, namely 45 million lei, while the Permanent Electoral Authority will benefit from over 16.9 million lei. The expenses are organized by categories, including costs for personnel, goods and services, as well as non-financial assets.
