The European Parliament has adopted the post-2024 strategy for disability rights, says Victor Negrescu. His proposed amendments cover free access to essential therapies, investment in inclusive sports infrastructure, protection of the rights of people with permanent disabilities without unnecessary reassessments and support for their families. Negrescu stresses that people with disabilities deserve equal opportunities and real access to education, work and sport.
