A demonstration of support for Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan is scheduled for Monday, April 20, 2026, in Victory Square in the Capital, starting at 6:00 PM. The event will coincide with the vote within the Social Democratic Party, where nearly 5,000 members will decide whether to withdraw political support for Bolojan. The meeting, called 'The Moment of Truth', will take place at Parliament, and the PSD's decision is expected to generate reactions among the Prime Minister's supporters. Andrei Caramitru encouraged on social media to respond to the scandal generated by the PSD. In a recent interview, Bolojan stated that he will not resign and accused the party of wanting to replace him because he disturbed the interests of certain groups. He emphasized that he will not accept a role as a puppet prime minister.
