Sorin Grindeanu, the leader of PSD, made statements regarding the scandal in justice, criticizing the USR initiative to change the justice laws, which he compared to the actions of Liviu Dragnea. He emphasized that the involvement of politics in these matters is not beneficial and suggested that specialists should discuss the proposals for amending the legislation, such as the one regarding the non-prescription of corruption offenses.
Grindeanu also commented on the possible resignation of the CSM president, Lia Savonea, stating that evaluations should be carried out by experts, mentioning that Savonea was appointed through a competition. Regarding the motion submitted by AUR against the Minister of Justice, he stated that the minister is not responsible for the problems in justice. Additionally, Grindeanu asserted that he does not regret the vote against Diana Buzoianu, emphasizing the importance of people's lives over protocol. In the end, he mentioned that he cannot discuss a coalition without USR without prior evaluations.
