PSD leader Sorin Grindeanu announced on Monday, after consultations with President Nicușor Dan at Cotroceni Palace, that the party “wants to be part of the solution”.
Grindeanu said that PSD had asked the president for the mandate to form the government.
“PSD wants to be part of the solution, to have a government quickly, to draw up the budget this year,” declared Sorin Grindeanu, who led the PSD delegation that attended the consultations.
“We do not have the red lines that others have; we support solutions of which we are part,” added the PSD president, who emphasized that the party “has not held congresses designed to eliminate the others, to say that ‘we will never form majorities again’.”
The PSD delegation for the consultations was led by Sorin Grindeanu and also included Marian Neacșu, Ștefan Ovidiu Popa, Alex Rogobete, Dumitrița Gliga, and Simona Bucura Oprescu.
