Sorin Grindeanu, the president of the Chamber of Deputies and leader of the PSD, stated that 2025 was a year full of challenges, both domestically and internationally, and warned that 2026 will not be easier. In a Facebook post, he emphasized the importance of establishing political stability and balanced economic measures for the development of Romania, mentioning that the country has remained a pillar of regional security in the complicated geopolitical context. Grindeanu highlighted the necessity of adopting policies that respond to the needs of Romanians, with the aim of reducing the budget deficit and improving the standard of living. He also pointed out the progress in infrastructure, mentioning the completion of 146 km of highways. Grindeanu insisted on the development of strategic partnerships to attract investments that would support the Romanian economy. His message concluded with well wishes for Romanians.
