After the verification, CNSAS reported that Silviu Predoiu 'was not a collaborator or worker of the former Securitate within the meaning of the law', but confirmed that he was a member of the Foreign Intelligence Center between 1987-1989. The former SIE chief of operations was vetted following his candidacy for the presidency on behalf of the party he founded, the 'National Action League'.
