AUR senator Petrișor Peiu accuses the Romanian state of economic inequality, claiming that the gas transportation tariff for export to Austria is 40% lower than for domestic consumption

He considers that this measure favors Austrian consumers at the expense of Romanian ones, in a context in which Romania should contribute to the EU's energy security. Peiu underlines that cheap exports should not come at high costs for Romanian citizens.
