The Board of Administration of the National Forest Administration – Romsilva has initiated the recruitment procedure for the position of general director, at the request of the Ministry of Environment, Waters and Forests (MMAP). This selection aims to increase the transparency and objectivity of the process, including the publication of candidates, scores, and interviews. The Minister of Environment, Diana Buzoianu, emphasized the importance of competent leadership for the management of Romania's forests and encouraged experienced candidates to participate in the selection.
Among the transparency measures are the publication of candidates' CVs, letters of intent, and interviews on the Romsilva and MMAP websites. The process will be monitored by observers from the ministry, and the evaluation will include document analysis, reference checks, and assessment of behavior in interviews. Candidates can submit their applications until February 16, 2026, both in paper format and electronically, and the necessary information is available on the Romsilva website.
