Ratings agency Fitch has reconfirmed Romania's rating at BBB-, maintaining a negative outlook. President Nicușor Dan said that the budget for 2026 and the fulfillment of the targets for joining the OECD will strengthen investor confidence. Finance Minister Alexandru Nazare emphasized that Fitch's decision reflects confidence in the government's measures, while Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan stressed the need for further measures to address the country's financial situation.
