Liberal deputy Robert Sighiartău accuses PSD and Nicușor Dan of supporting the Veștea Government to weaken PNL.

PNL Deputy Robert Sighiartău stated that the Veștea project was supported by President Nicușor Dan and by PSD with the aim of weakening the National Liberal Party, either by taking control or by fragmenting it. Sighiartău emphasized that PSD has not publicly assumed support for this project, preferring to influence and control from behind the scenes, keeping the option to withdraw at any moment.

He stated that for PSD there are no friends or principles, only permanent interests. Sighiartău highlighted that both Adrian Veștea and the President of Romania are seen as useful tools for the political objectives of the social democrats, being supported only as long as they fulfill their role.
