The Young People's Party is calling for the dismissal of the presidents of the two chambers of Parliament, accusing them of intentionally blocking the suspension of President Klaus Iohannis.

Anamaria Gavrilă, president of the POT, said that the two Presidents of the Chambers blocked the initiative to suspend Iohannis, in violation of the Parliament's rules. The suspension initiative has generated divergent opinions, with supporters calling Iohannis illegitimate and critics warning of political destabilization. For the suspension to be approved, 233 votes are needed, while the signatory parties only have 215.
