Raluca Turcan, PNL deputy, expressed on Monday, on social media, her dissatisfaction with the amendments supported by PSD and AUR, which led to the re-sending of the Integrity Law in Parliament.

Turcan emphasized that, instead of having an adopted integrity law, Romania needs to intervene legislatively to align the law with the decision of the Constitutional Court.

Her criticism focused on an amendment proposed by AUR, considered unconstitutional, which targeted the asset declarations of life partners, and on another amendment that could affect the mandate of the mayor of Timișoara, Dominic Fritz.

Turcan accused PSD of attempts to destabilize PNL and USR, warning that the delay in adopting the Integrity Law risks losing 770 million euros in European funds.

The law is now resuming its legislative path, and the deadline for adoption is the end of August.
