Radu Oprea, the Secretary General of the Government, declared on Thursday that he signed his resignation on the same day as the PSD ministers, who decided to leave the executive. Oprea emphasized that his resignation will become effective once the decree for the termination of his position is signed by President Nicușor Dan. He mentioned on Facebook that he respects the vote of his colleagues, who felt it was time to stop. Until the formalities are completed, Oprea will continue to handle the administrative side, ensuring that the resignations reach the Presidential Administration. The social-democratic ministers submitted their resignations at the Victoria Palace, thus marking a significant change in the governmental structure.
