The joint budget-finance committees adopted, on Thursday, the PSD amendment, in the agreed version in the coalition regarding aid for pensioners and vulnerable people, which is funded by the amounts allocated to judges, who have won salary rights in court.
The amendment was approved with 41 votes in favor and 10 against, according to RFI and Agerpres. Additionally, the budget of the Ministry of Labor was adopted by the budget committees with 42 votes "in favor" and 9 abstentions.
Discussions regarding the state budget resumed today in the Budget Committee, after coalition leaders found a way to introduce the amendment requested by the PSD.
"We decided to reduce the expenditure component from rights obtained by judges in previous years and practically postpone them," declared Ilie Bolojan, after the coalition meeting in the morning that led to the unblocking of discussions regarding the budget law project.
The PSD leader, Sorin Grindeanu, announced that the amendment regarding the exemption from CASS for disadvantaged categories will be removed from the budget project and will be pursued through legislative means, in Parliament, following the agreement in the Coalition.
