Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan addressed, on Tuesday, during the debate on the motion of censure, the challenges faced by the government, emphasizing that austerity measures have sparked discontent among local barons, who can no longer use state resources for uncovered projects. Bolojan explained that, in the first months, the Social Democratic Party acted as an internal opposition, generating confusion within the coalition.

He mentioned that, although difficult measures were taken, they were not enough to regain the lost electorate. The Prime Minister acknowledged that he tolerated the inappropriate behaviors of some coalition members, hoping that the stability of the country deserves sacrifices.
