Interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan stated on Friday evening that not all the decisions made during his term were perfect, but he does not believe he made any major mistake for which he should reproach himself specifically.
Asked whether he had any regrets regarding the period during which he led the Romanian Government, Bolojan explained that, in such an important position, decisions are made daily, and some of them could have been better. However, he specified that every decision was adopted with the intention of serving the country's interests.
“When you hold such an important position, you make decisions every day. I do not have any particular major mistake that I made. Of course, not all the decisions, the dozens of daily decisions, were perfect,” said the interim prime minister.
Bolojan added that, when analyzing government measures, he compared the country's situation with that of his own family or of a company he would run. “I always thought: is this good for my family? That is what I decided,” he stated.
The interim prime minister acknowledged that some things could have been managed better, but emphasized that he does not have any particular decision that he considers a major error.
