Prime Minister Bolojan on the early elections: "I avoid making speculations in general"

Prime Minister Bolojan was asked on Digi24 about the possibility of early elections as a solution to the current crisis. He emphasized that changing without proposing a solution will not help the country, stating that a responsible assumption of decisions is necessary. Bolojan explained that PNL will participate in consultations, but will not be able to continue the coalition with PSD due to the breach of agreements and lack of responsibility.

He avoided speculation regarding early elections but suggested that PSD and AUR might have a plan to take over the government. The Prime Minister mentioned that the Romanian parliamentary system does not encourage early elections, but that it is possible to reach this situation, considering the overlapping crises the country is facing. Bolojan emphasized that any delay in resolving these crises will have costs for citizens.
