Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan stated that he had a meeting with representatives from several ministries to prepare a payment request of over 2.5 billion euros from the PNRR funds. The goal is to submit this request by the end of the month, which requires the fulfillment of 60 milestones. Bolojan mentioned that most of the milestones are already fulfilled or are in the final stages of completion, especially in the fields of Health, Environment, Energy, Transport, and the governance of state-owned companies. In the next two weeks, these conditions will be finalized during government meetings. The funds obtained will be used to finance infrastructure works, including hospitals and schools undergoing rehabilitation.
