The President of Romania, Nicușor Dan, will make a visit to Poland, where he will meet with Prime Minister Donald Tusk and other officials, such as the Marshal of the Sejm and the Marshal of the Senate. The purpose of the visit is to advance the strategic partnership between Romania and Poland, discussing bilateral priorities and economic projects, including the development of trade exchanges and investments. A central topic will be European security, in the context of the Russian Federation's aggression against Ukraine. Issues such as defense cooperation, the agenda of the European Council, the expansion of the European Union, and the situation in the Republic of Moldova will also be addressed. The visit coincides with the Day of Romanian-Polish Solidarity, marking the signing of the defensive alliance agreement in 1921.
