The meeting in which Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan was to pledge his responsibility on the Austerity Law was postponed for two hours due to the Social Democratic Party's requests to introduce amendments. The PSD tabled 18 amendments, including raising the threshold for the health contribution for pensions from 3,000 to 4,000 lei and cutting the party subsidy by 40%. The amendments also aim to exempt certain social categories from paying CASS.
