The PSD is preparing in the upcoming period, after the withdrawal of the ministers, to notify the CCR of a conflict between Parliament and the Government, which will remain in the minority.
Thus, Sorin Grindeanu is considering an action at the Constitutional Court to verify the legitimacy of the executive after losing PSD's support, sources cited by several publications claim.
Emil Boc, former prime minister, stated a few days ago that the Bolojan Government will not automatically fall, as the Constitution provides clear solutions. The prime minister has 45 days to appoint new ministers in place of the PSD ones, without needing Parliament's approval. If the situation is not resolved within this period, the prime minister will propose a change in the political composition of the government.
If Parliament rejects this proposal, the current government can continue to function, emphasizing that the opposition must have a viable alternative to change the executive.
This political dynamic is also supported by Petre Lăzăroiu, former judge of the Constitutional Court, who mentions that the government can remain in office even without Parliament's approval.
