Interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan: "In a form where the PSD will have secretaries of state in a government, even with technocrat ministers, the PNL will not vote for such a government."

Interim Prime Minister Bolojan stated that PNL will not support a government in which PSD has secretaries of state or technocratic ministers, considering it a surrogate of PSD. He emphasized the importance of PSD taking responsibility for the government, given that it has a majority in Parliament alongside AUR. Bolojan highlighted the effective collaboration between PSD and AUR on votes in Parliament, which suggests a cohesion between the two parties. This position of PNL reflects a strategy of distancing from PSD, in the current context of Romanian politics.

"For PNL, the principled things we have established will remain valid. In a scenario where PSD will have secretaries of state in a government, even with technocratic ministers, PNL will not vote for such a government because, in such a situation, it would be a form of surrogate of PSD," said interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan in a podcast.
